Meet your hosts: Derek & Becky Hammons, residents of Brandon, MS. 

Derek was born in Louisiana and raised in Jackson, MS. He graduated from Terry High School and eventually made his way to Brandon, MS. He is the owner of Hammons Customs and has over 20 years of experience with remodeling. Derek is known for his unique designs and bold taste. He has an eye for details that really sets him apart from other builders. He is excited to offer his first short term rental to the city of Brandon. Although Derek is known for his work, his true love and passion is being the best father he can be to his children. He works hard for his family to enjoy new experiences and he loves showing them the world on vacations. 

Becky was born in Jackson, MS and raised in Florence, MS. She graduated from Florence High School and attended Hinds Community College for nursing. She is a former hospice nurse who is now a stay at home mom. She enjoys being able to show up for their 3 children at every event. She has a heart for taking care of others and serving. She can’t wait for this new adventure of managing The Pearl. Derek built the house and Becky made it a home. 

Derek and Becky now live in Brandon together with their three children and Golden Retriever, Pettie. Ridge is 9, Lake is 7, and Hattie Rose is 2. They attend Pinelake Church and have their children in Christian based schools. The Hammons’ are proud and excited to offer this unique space for everyone to enjoy. They even included their 3 children in the home by naming each suite after them.
